Over the weekend my son got his "Big Boy" bed. I started with a nap Sunday just to see if there would be any problems but he seemed to love it and went right to sleep. So I put him in his bed last night. It was so nice to be able to lay down next to him to read a book and to sing a lullaby and when I woke him up this morning he looked so cute in his bed, curled up. So now I just need to find the strength to take apart the crib. I remember when I first put him in that crib. He looked so small and helpless. Now he is an independent, smart, strong willed little boy.

i can't wait to curl up next to calvin one day. sometimes i let him nap in my bed just so i can do that!
he looks like he loves his bed. he is such a big boy!
