Lost Photos

Two weeks ago I made a very large mistake. I mistook a file and tried to delete it, this file ended up being my hard drive and I deleted everything on my computer including all my photos and all my music. I thought I had backed these up on Mozy.com but when the Genius Bar at Apple took a look they said I had only backed up the programs, not the files inside. Needless to say I cried all the way back to work that day. I did purchase a Data Recovery disk and I was able to save about 60% of my photos. Most of which were taken in the last year. I lost almost all of my son's baby pictures.

I took for granted that my pictures would be safe. I lesson learned the hard way. I have since purchased a external hard drive and everything is backed up automatically now. I feel a little more at ease and I am trying to move on and focus on taking as many pictures as I can to make up for the ones I lost.

Because every second with my son is precious.
